Wafra Downtown

The refurbishment of the Wafra Downtown seeks to reestablish the building’s position as a fore-runner in commercial and office real estate. The overall aim of the proposal is to reinvent the identity of the WW, moving it away from being a symbol of an unfortunate eventinto a model for progress and renovation. Erasing the history of the fire, new silhouette calls for a change in the general impression and branding of the tower. Location at the heart of Kuwait city, the site sits on one of the busiest commercial roads and therefore the building’s presence along this strip in relation to other commercial and office towers is highly significant. The WW’s newly defined silhouette maximizes this presence and sets the stage for a building that truly stands out.
