Joaquín Pérez-Goicoechea, founding partner of AGi architects along with Nasser Abulhasan, is part of the Jury for the World Architecture Festival Awards 2015, whose current edition will be held from 4 to 6 November in Singapore. WAF judges are selected for their experience and expertise in relation to particular building types and for their accomplishment and knowledge of architecture as a whole. Among the members of the 2015 WAF Jury are also professionals such as Sir Peter Cook, Sou Fujimoto and Benedetta Tagliabue, amongst others. Joaquin will judge projects submitted to Completed Building Religion and Future Projects Culture categories. The design firm led by Joaquin and Nasser has extensive experience at the WAF awards, achieving four awards both in completed buildings and future projects categories. The most recent one is the 2014 WAF Award in the Completed Buildings Religion category for “La Ascensión del Señor” Church, in Seville. WAF awards include three main categories: completed buildings, future projects and landscape, each one covering several subcategories, a total of 31. The deadline for submission of entries is open until 22May. In addition, all finalist projects will also be exhibited at the London Festival of Architecture this June.
