Lucía Sánchez Salmón, Stefania Rendinelli, and Cristina Araujo, appointed as Associate Architects

As the firm expands its portfolio across Europe and the Middle East, these appointments formally recognise sustained contributions and leadership across projects.

Lucía Sánchez Salmón, since joining AGi architects in 2006, has defined her role within the practice through multidisciplinary team leadership, overseeing architects and specialist consultants on technically and programmatically demanding projects. She has led teams on several recognised works including Wall House, Rock House, the Tamdeen Square Residential Towers and the Opportunity Pavillion. She is in charge of the architectural team and consultants’ coordination of the Residency for the Elderly in Torrecilla en Cameros.

Stefania Rendinelli, who joined the firm in 2010, has developed a practice defined by rigorous project coordination, technical precision, and a consistent focus on design quality across all scales. Among her notable contributions to the firm are Ali Mohamed T. Al-Ghanim Clinic, Hisham A. Alsager Cardiology Hospital, SJM Kidney Transplant & EMB Neurosurgery Hospital, Wafra Wind Tower, Yal Living and Three Gardens House. She also led the firm’s first Passivehaus project under EnerPHit certification.

Cristina Araujo joined AGi architects in 2013 and has since developed a consistent body of work marked by an in-depth understanding of design strategies, fine detailing and interior design, supported by deep technical grounding and expertise in Passivehaus criteria. Among her contributions to the firm are Playtime Villa and Quarry House in Kuwait, Archipelago Villa in Madrid, the Expansion of the Burgos Archive, and large-scale residential and civic projects including the FAWSEC Campus.

Through these appointments, AGi architects reaffirms its commitment to cultivating leadership from within, and to fostering a practice rooted in collaboration, technical rigour, and architectural excellence.

AGi architects shares its experience with ceramics at the Hispalyt Forum

During the 2025/2026 academic year, AGi architects is taking part in “Lessons Learned: The Architect Discusses Their Work”, an initiative by the Hispalyt Ceramic Forum highlighting the creative potential of exposed brick.

Their lecture, “Earth and Geometry: Ceramics as a Living Envelope”, showcases how the studio integrates this material into its projects, blending technique and design to create distinctive spaces.

Gwenola Kergall, Partner at AGi architects, and Daniel Muñoz, Managing Director of our Madrid office, are sharing the studio’s architectural vision with students in Valencia, Madrid, Valladolid, and Málaga.
