One of our latest healthcare projects, Hisham A. Alsager Cardiac Center, in Kuwait, has been recognized by FAD International Awards 2016 as Selected project.
The jury chose five finalists and five selected projects out of 32 works submitted into this category of international projects.
FAD Awards expanded their involvement outside the Iberian peninsula three editions ago, adding the International FAD Awards, targeting those architectural proposals designed from Spain and Portugal to be raised anywhere in the world.
The current edition has welcomed those projects completed between 2013 and 2015 to cover a wide range of works. International FAD Awards are the same categories as the FAD Awards, plus an own jury, which this year was formed by Daniel Kurz, as president, and Xavier Bustos and Belen Moneo as members.
The FAD Awards were created in 1958, driven by the architect Oriol Bohigas. They are the oldest in Europe and one of the most prestigious.
This new recognition joins other awards achieved by AGi architects with this Cardiac Center, such as:
- National Winner, in Kuwait, at MEED Quality Awards 2016 in the category of “Social, Culture & Heritage Project of the Year”.
- Highly Commended at World Architecture Festival Awards 2014 in the Future Health Projects category.
- Silver A’Design Award 2013, Architecture, Building and Structure Design category
- Highly Commended at Hospital Build & Infrastructure Awards 2013.
