NYOVA -brand of unique and exclusive furniture that focuses on discovering young designers- has selected Joaquín Pérez-Goicoechea, Principal and Founder of AGi architects, as judge of the second edition of its Design Competition. Winners will be announced in the first quarter of 2016.
The jury will also be composed by industrial designer Álvaro Catalán de Ocón, interior designer Lázaro Rosa Violán and the editor in chief of AD (Architectural Digest) magazine, Isabel Margalejo.
This second edition includes six topics of inspiration:
- Little things.
- How do we sit?
- Store and organize.
- Light everywhere.
- To work, eat…
- Where imagination takes you.
The 2nd NYOVA Design Competition consists of three jury awards and an audience award as well as the possibility of granting secondary prizes depending on the quality of the submitted projects. The First Jury Prize is endowed with € 3,000; the second prize with € 1,500 and the third one, € 700. The Audience Award is € 300.
According to Joaquín Pérez-Goicoechea, “AGi architects and NYOVA share their passion for the exclusive design and their commitment to support innovation and creativity brought by young designers. Joining this project as a judge is a great illusion for me and for the firm I represent”.
Victor Carrasco, Teresa Sapey and Marta Riopérez were the judges of the first edition of the Design Competition, held last year.
NYOVA is an innovative project in which designers are the brand itself, because their projects become products of the NYOVA catalogue.
